It always seemed like it was a trip to Watford and reading around the Christmas period, Perhaps reading getting promoted had something to do with it :) Although next season I would like

1st game of the season at home

Boxing day and New Years day at home

Last game of the season at home

If you have boxing day at home you play away new years day don't you?

The best one was 2 years ago, Reading away boxing day piece of piss lost 4-1 after going a Jon Stead goal up. Home (can't remember **** I'm getting old) then away to QPR easy trip 2-2, I believe last time we scored one touch goal from a corner Steven Caulker in the dyeing minutes **** me we wild then! Then Home on New Years Day against Cardiff 3-0

What does anyone expect when a computer is working out the fixtures? In the olden days one guy did the entire Football League fixtures manually. Teams played home and away alternately except for maybe one or two consecutive home or away in the season.
Bristol City and Rovers were never given home games on the same day, as happened twice in this years fixtures.
When I lived in Shrewsbury, they always asked for an away game when the Flower Show takes place. In those "pre computer, on the back of an envelope" days they got their away match. As soon as it went to a computer, they got a home game which the police would not allow.
    It's called progress!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not like its hard to stop things like that happening with the computer just needs someone with common sense to do it right
