Looking at this game and the following SJP fixture vs Huddersfield, I can't think of two more important games in recent memory. If we lose either or both of these games, then we are staring relegation in the face. Home games against the teams around us are MUST win. I'm not confident but I remain hopeful. HUGE HUGE HUGE game, 3 points or we really are looking over our shoulder at the drop. Same for Southampton though so think it'll be a cagey 0-0 that helps no one as we look to sit in and defend our precious points and goal difference.
We need to attack them in this game. None of this cautious approach **** Rafa. Anything less than 3 points from this game is not acceptable.
We need to win this...end of. I think we have a 3 week layoff until the next game. These are the games that will make or break our season. The Man Utd result was a fluke, lets be honest...not talking nowt away from the lads, they defended so so well and we scored a well worked goal to nick the points. What followed in terms of results was probably to be expected and we would have pretty much predicted 1 points from the next two games (Bournemouth and L'Pewel). We've been pretty **** at home all season and we need to start turning it round. I'm going for 3-1 home win. Murphy, Ritchie and Gayle to score.
That'll probably be 1-1 as well We're the draw specialists and never seem to beat any teams around us (bar wba) so can see a draw. Don't think we've got a great record at your place though.
