Erm we won the league 2 years ago after we had heard all the 'decline' nonsense the season before that because we won 3 in a row and then missed out by a point. Last season we missed out by a few goals so obviously we are in decline. This season we have lost our opening game and clearly the decline continued, went behind early v Fulham to continue our decline but then our decline has been put on ice. Its not pretty but United grinding out results.............. thats every other sides worst nightmare. Last season was unlike us, we started brilliantly and ended poorly. This season we have started like we started every other PL season, scrappy games and narrow wins ( bar Wigan ). We have come from behind 3 times already. Last season we didnt do it once. Typical United, winning when we shouldnt be. Thats how we win titles. This sloppy form wont last all season, sooner or later we will play to our very best and 1-0 wins will become 3-0 and 4-0 wins.

yes and shortly before we dropped out of CL we won the CL, were in the final for another and ran a hard fought battle for the league, like you did last season. The following season we were out of CL, just like that.
You are assuming United and Liverpool are run the same and managed the same. We are not. We are run far better and managed far better than Liverpool were and are. So just because it happened to Liverpool doesnt mean it will happen to United. I mean are you expecting Liverpool to do a Leeds or Newcastle now they have dropped out of the Champions League? Relegation?
