Sorry guys but I am really worried regards our position, another loss today. We are going to the bottom of the table next week,no doubts about it. Ipswich won today under mick Macarthy 1 point behind us. Do we allow this to carry on,there is something seriously wrong at our club. Sorry guys this is as bad as millens reign, but this manager has a much better squad of players on the books. What do we do over to you. Please don't say this problem is going too go away it is not.
I dont know how we played, but hey, we didnt concede the customary 2.5 goals that on average we've done so far this season. Typically it was another day that we didnt score either. Its not good that's for sure.
Did you actually listen to the 2nd half RR, sounded like we were unlucky not to get a point Sounded a lot better than before, continue to solidify and then work from there You clearly had this article ready on the cut and paste for the final whistle - really, stop pressing the panic button...
: No did not listen prem,I just new we would loose, the bottom line is goals win games and the terriers put the ball in the net. Very very concerning indeed
Changing the manager now would be stupid, ok we lost again but only by determined defending by Huddlesfield. Lady luck will change and then you can get back to telling everyone, don't underestimate us we are the dark horses again! As Prem said did you have this thread typed up already? And no at the moment I'm not happy and would love to swing for someone or something but it's football it's early in the season, the only guarantee I will give you this season is the same as at the beginning WE WON'T GO UP, but we can get out of this Ipswich winning today shows Brum can be beat so let's get behind the team and support them.
ROD you and I have been supporting city for donkeys years, but we cannot brush this under the carpet,STEVE L will act if we loose the next two games, watch this space.
Sorry but relying on "lady luck" shows how **** we are, good teams win games deservedly, not by luck!
We are obviously going to hear a lot over the next week, particularly if we lose to Birmingham, regarding the future of our manager and the jury's out on whether he should stay or go. The armchair managers on this site all have their varying opinions, as is their right, on whether he should stay and complete his rebuild programme or be sent down the road to pastures new. I am not sure which way we should go but the general view seems to be that should we do the evil deed, who in hell do we bring in next? Whatever is going on in the dressing room, and I think a lot of us know what exactly is happening down there, cannot be changed by wishful thinking and cries of "we were unlucky" despite our hopes that salvation is at hand just by using the right buzzwords. The simple fact of the matter is that we are, and have been for a few seasons, a non-competitor at this level and if you have problems understanding that then you haven't looked seriously at our lousy record and statistics in most departments. The BBC Bristol commentators know all the right phrases but they too are beginning to run out of words to describe our plight and the phone-in show afterwards puts our dismal form back in to the right context. Despite all our best thoughts prior to the season, and the excitement that pervaded this site in regard to the new talent brought in and the others that were sent on their ways, we are back to square zero with a torrid future lined up. Many a manager has been dispatched with better records than we have at present and it makes me wonder what SL has to say about the situation other than we must improve. I always hoped that Derek would bring a different attitude to the club but I must confess that I now question whether he, or anyone else for that matter, can remedy the malaise that seems to want to stick around BS3 ad nauseum. None of us has the answers, just opinions, so we can only hope, yet again, that sanity prevails but the best before date is fast approaching.
