When I was born we lived in a flat under the Butchers shop on Hotwells Road near to where the Steam Packet pub used to be. Then we moved to Hartcliffe, 43 Greenditch Avenue I can even remember the phone number it started 64436 then they added another 6 to the front of it 664436. From there we moved to Southville Hamilton Road, still keeping my South Bristol roots. Then my parents decide to move North of the River and I lived in Henleaze Cherrington Road, from there even further north to Filton Park/Northville in SAGgy territory Kellaway Avenue, then even closer to the Eastville dump on Ashley Down Road, but finally after my parents had bought a shop on Stapleton Road and it had been trashed, by some Sags who saw me leave the shop in my City kit to go and watch a game in '77, they bought a house and shop in Redland on Zetland Road apart from some time in the Nurses home at Barrow hospital and some short term flat lets in Clifton that is my history of living in Bristol. My parents decided to retire to South Wales to a little place called Church Village and I left Bristol for jobs in Manchester, London, Manchester again, Pontypridd so I could go to Uni as a mature student then Llanbradach both in South Wales and my final move so far up to Blackpool. Not a very exciting life in terms of where I've lived I have spent time in Canada and the USA but that was part of an extended holiday 11 months after a big win on the ponies so as I moved about quite a bit I can't count that. Next move for me is either London to live with the girl friend or we both move to Bristol that's all in the future though. I have no doubt that some of you have had a far more interesting history are any of you interested in doing a potted history of yourselves?

I'll keep it brief as the long version would bore you even more! Born in 1960 in Clifton, lived for 4 years on Broncksea Rd in Filton, then nearly 4 years in Farrington Gurney (I remember our phone number there was Temple Cloud 503). Then nearly 5 years over the river in Glos, near Lydney/Blakeney. Two years in Zambia, southern Africa from Sep 73 because of my Dad having got an overseas aid/teaching job over there. Back to England in mid-75 for school reasons, so was in East Grinstead, Sussex for school, exams and then work from mid-75 through the Sept 92. I remember getting odd looks in the late 80's when I'd walk in East Grinstead, Crawley or Brighton wearing a City replica shirt, from people trying to work out whose shirt it was! No, Man U or Liverpool are NOT sponsored by Hirerite! Relocated to Leeds with my job, and lived & worked there for 20 years to Sept 2012, when I moved over here to Chicago. So I haven't lived in the West since 73, yet people everywhere have always and still say that I "talk funny". I just never lost the Bristol/Somerset/Forest accent!
