    ... I was taught that the wise men came from the East.

    Boy don't the growns ups tell you some lies when you are just a kid!

    Now we are all grown up we know that it is the crooks, the cheats and the ne're do wells that come from the East while the truth is that the wise men come from the West.

    Depends where you are of course...if you were in India, yemen, for example would be to the West...and if you were in Brighton, Smith would be to the West ...
