Does anyone know when the SAS will be complete again? We really need his return to push us on and make sure we get top 4.

Suarez is doing great, but lets not forget Sturridge has 9 goals, which is the same as 'world class' rooney and Lukaku who is apparently phenomenal, despite being injured for a month and a half.

Its strange as we are fine without him, but we certainly need the options.

Aspas vs Sturridge <ok> Not much competition there eh....Last thing I heard was the 14th but that he was making very good progress so possible return next weekend. Bonus if he's ready for a bench spot this weekend though.

    Yeah it would be ideal.

Important we don't get 'oneitus' with Suarez. He gets injured then Sturridge needs to step up and be top dog.

It is reported he is progressing faster but that is his record.. easy to injure quick to recover.

I doubt he'll be put out for a bunch of manc wannabe cloggers to kick off the park.

We needed his presence and physicality v city and cheslea badly.. someone to take it in and hold it and bring us up the pitch.

If we get him back and can get a way of playing with him and suarez and coutinho that works.... well the next 4 are ideal games to get that going in the league.

I'm also really wanting enrique back cos the state of us on the left on new years was sad.

I hope he has another week and a bit to recover and is available in some form (be it from the start or bench) against Stoke, they're never easy to play against!

I don't want him coming back against a team that would rather kick him than the ball. It's too risky to say the least. Give him a couple more weeks to be on the safe side.

  9. I'd prefer us to leave him a week longer than he needs just to be on the safe side. Also needs to start from the bench too.

Think football Physios go for a bigger estimate, just to cover themselves if it does take an extra week to recover, so 2 weeks becomes 3 or 4. Its the old Star Trek Scotty trick. Give the bosses a longer time to fix something that way when you fix it in half the time makes you look better.

Stoke perhaps not the best team to make a return against.
