This is not a very important, just idle curiosity. When does one pass from being a Newbie to being a Member and then a Senior Member? Is it based on the number of posts? 20 to become a Member, 100 to become a Senior Member or something like that? Are there any other categories? As I say, it's not important as it is the quality of posting, whether from newbies, members or senior members, which counts. Just wondered. (Takes my mind off current concerns, by which I of course mean St Valentine's Day. Will my daughter get the rose she's hoping for? And if she doesn't, ...?)
It is based on the number of posts you have contributed. You can rise to anything except Mod, as you have to be invited to become one.
Only know 2 milestones chatsnoir..... 100 posts for "Senior Member" status. Long, meandering tales for SuperMod status.
Take no notice of these vile and wicked remarks chats because they are not right. When one joins one is a newbie and will remain an newbie until one reachers an acceptable level of posts when one will become a full member not to be confused with a senior member. One becomes a senior member when one is deemed to have the required expertise and experience and the senior status is not to be confused with age. I think it fair to say that this covers your question and a full and frank answer to the said question. I could go on..
Syd - I'm incensed - are you saying that I have somehow managed to acquire expertise AND experience, despite the drivel I post
only in relivance to the rather low bar set on this forum. In the real world you, like the rest of us, would be locked up.
been soft for some time, cold weather, age, just me and the dog, not ready for the dog, well, not yet
I'm a Senior Member and I'm 20. Yay. As Senior Members, we convene special meetings where we determine the future of the galaxy and its inhabitants. Newbies do the dishes and stuff.
at the bottom of each post to the left you will see a star just past the blog bit. Click on it and you can give a positive or negative on the post or comment and it will reflect in the posters reputation. Just a tool on the site for anyone who wants to use it. I have just given you a positive rep that should show up.
Who is this 'one' bloke? I take it he cannot spell either! What about all the throbbing members on here who haven't been labelled yet?
