Manchester United are having a bad run, Liverpool also, so also Everton and many others. The time of your club's bad run can determine many things. When do you prefer to have bad run? 1. Beginning of the season? 2. Middle of the season?. 3. Towards the end of the season?. VOTE:
Middle of the season. At the start means you may never be able to catch up and confidence could be knocked for the rest of the year. At the end means you could feel the season has been a disappointment coming 2nd when you feel you could have won the league. In the middle around Christmas is when a lot of teams drop points anyway due to the amount of games played and it gives you 15 or so games to make up the points you may have lost. Look at Arsenal, they always have a mini collapse and it's around mid season in Feb, but it gives them a chance to recover and get back into the CL slots. Only negative for middle is it's CL knock outs and FA cup's so a bad run could knock you out of a few comps.
At least we've not been gubbed yet. In fact we outplayed the side who tonked City 3-0 at Wembley for 80 minutes on Saturday.......
