. . . become a one man team? Sol Bamba ran the show for us and was the only one to provide movement while he was up front. ****ing dire performance. NO MOVEMENT! We need someone to run at the opposition. Not passing sideways and backwards constantly! Imagine this - A LCFC player recieves the ball He turns and advances forward He skips past one player and dribbles past another He looks up and shoots, or even passes. Recieve the ball, go forward and let the magic happen!! We need to buy a winger. Danns is not a wide man. He is best in the middle! Abe and Fernandes do not need to be in the same team. Especially at home! Pfft! Long way to go yet eventhough it does feel like the end of the world...
Pretty much agree, Bamba was everywhere and it was a one-man team at times. I thought Fernandes and Scmeichel were quality as well though and Pantsil, Konchesky, Wellens and Nugent all had reasonable performances. Nowhere near good enougn as a whole though. Movement isn't just important so you can recieve a pass yourself, it's also vital for other players to as well. If you pull their defenders here there and everywhere it creates space and options. This, I understand is something that will take time but I still think professional footballers should be able to move into space whether they know their teammates or not. I had a dream of us playing wonderful attacking, passing football this season and scoring lots of goals. Please Sven, make it come true.
