Was a defeat at home by Motherwell enough?

I know Celtic have a 1 point lead and a game in hand but Celtic have two away ties and Aberdeen have two home ties. Are we looking at Aberdeen being top for New Year?

Will Delia be trusted to make signing in January to win league and have a good start at Champions League qualifiers?

We are winning a league with a lot of young players. We've been in worse positions and kept managers

Ridding ourselves of Delia only makes sense to me if we are prepared to spend spend spend and I really don't see that happening

i have tried to be pro deila, and in the main i am. If i thought we could get a decent manager to replace him and the board would back that manager i would say get rid of him. however we all know that will not happen. we would end up with paul hartley or alan stubbs. they both could go on to be great managers but at the moment they are no better than ronnie.

there has to be a viable candidate before you get rid of him.

Europe this year has been shocking. you cannot defend his european record so i won't try.

In the league we have won more games, scored more goals and conceded fewer than this time last year.

in saying this he needs to improve drastically, we are inept defensively (mainly in europe) and despite our love of signing attacking midfielders, we have no clue what so ever in how to break a team down that shuts up shop.

We didn't fund a European campaign and the board weren't interested in a uefa runners up prize

Some daft **** will pay six million for Biton and the balance sheet trophy will be secure for another year

Delia is doing a grand job, keep till the end of the season at least. Sign more players like Ciftci and give Ambrose an extended contract. <ok>

He's a plonker, the decisions he makes are baffling. We don't have the players for his system but the system remains and it a **** system, we play with 3 central midfielder and not one can read play and protect a defence or the system doesn't allow them too, we are ****ing slow and boring in possession and he hasn't demanded John Collins be sacked.

We are slightly better then we were a year ago in terms of league points and we were a disgrace last year, I just don't get what some people think he's doing, I've heard them explain it but I think they are deluding themselves.

He's not good enough, although he's not the biggest problem.

Who do you replace him with tam? Who else is going to do any better while working under the conditions that lawell imposes?

If we are to change tact and invest a wee bit and bring in an experienced manager then i am all for getting rid of him.

No point, Lawwell is a control freak and won't let go, he will no longer trust a manager after the TM disaster.

A new guy might be able to improve our results but that is no longer the point of Celtic, we now exist to develop players for mid to lower EPL sides and ensure Lawwell gets enough from player sales to ensure his bonus.
