Just been looking at our 11 matches under Ward. We've all been talking about a change in spirit, shape and commitment. I looked at second half performances, after the half-time team talk. In 4 matches we were winning at half-time and held on to win. In 2 matches we were drawing at half-time but went on to win. In 3 matches we were losing at half-time and came back for draws. The 2 losses: We were 0-2 down at half-time v Gillingham (then top), second half was then goalless. We were 0-2 down v Rotherham and came back to 1-2. So Ward seems to influence matches. We may not always agree with his formations and substitutions, but the 'proof is in the pudding'.
all good stuff but i dont recall losing 4-0 vs the gills under JW?? thought it was 2-0 gills and it was 2-0 half time and 0-0 2nd half so an improvement in the 2nd half again which agrees with your point
