Poch doesn't have the win ratio for such a move, let alone the silverware. Just hope Van Gaal doesn't get the United job, as the Spurs manager shredder will focus on Poch more. Always thought Ancelotti was the best match for United - got the perfect mix of being a born winner and a level head. Anyone ever consider that if Poch was to go, Moyes would almost certainly be linked to manage us? A Moyes with something to prove could be a decent thing for some club - not sure it would be us. He may need a good year to return to full mental strength.
Is anyone else reminded of Jon Snow trying to do a scouse accent?
My only real criticism of the Moyes sacking is the timing, I was sure that we would have been the team that signed the death warrant, now Manure will turn up with "new manager" syndrome and it is going to be harder to get a result.
Just watching Man U thrashing Norwich and I can't believe how different the team is from last week. Is it just me or does anyone else find it sickening that the same players who failed to perform and got Moyes the sack are now showing their true potential for Giggs. I rated Moyes as a manager at Everton and whilst I accept he might have been the wrong nan for the job here those players are supposed to be professionals. They should always give 100%. I just hope. The new manager clears out those who encouraged Moyes departure by failing to perform.
Take the point about Norwich but don't you think there is a difference between the new manager effect and this? Those players were always good and they always had a decent manager. They appear to have chosen - despite being on mega salaries - not to perform until he was sacked.
I think that they, and the fans/crowd, had become disillusioned under Moyes. Underperformance in those circumstances is just human nature.
