The newspapers haven't managed to find any clubs who want to buy them. Is this because they are useless or it is recognised that these guys are both loyal and very happy where they are. Or maybe their agents aren't touting them around.
Has to be plausible, they have to find a team that might need a similar player and, that team, has to be high enough to tempt a player harlot. Fonte is probably regarded as untouchable and (because they are idiots) wouldn't attract a bigger club (and remember there are fewer of them than there used to be ). JWP is a good player, but (however much we love him) he is not the huge talent that draws the attention of others...though he is only a couple of free kicks from attracting the attention of the fickle press. Ryan has just signed a contract here and Shane hasn't set the world alight with goals and isn't always a starter for us. We value players for their contribution, but, for the press, goals are everything. Could be right about their agents though, Godders. Can't imagine any of the four named are actively seeking a move.
Most of his posts are, but still a valid point. Some players are just below the press radar and, although not necessarily any of ours, rumours can be instigated by players.
