His form has dipped in recent weeks i dont know what the problem seems to be?is he carrying the injury still or is he not interested anymore?i dont know but last few games he hasnt been putting about like he used to up front, personally i drop him for the next game and restore hayes to the starting line up and perhaps drop green to the bench and put in waggy again!cp needs to give bwp a kick up the backside to pull his weight a bit more on the pitch -what would u do drop him next game or start him?
heres a quick question if a club comes in jan with an offer for bwp say 1.8m or 2m would you cash in on him?
you dont half talk some nonsense sometimes. be like selling andy reid all over again. answer is, keep him, work on our game plan. we should not be changing our team to match the opposition (e.g solly today)
whats been said on other forums tonight when not going his way bwp has a little sulk on the pitch do u agree with what they have said?
He played ok. Had some chances, but overall needed more to be created. I think green will be made to be a scapegoat, but he was decent enough, it was the rest that bought nothing. Playing kermo also seems to make our players go to long ball. I liked cort, but Moro has been out best defender at the back, so to move hom was unfortunate. That said, I can see the sense in bringing in the extra physical prsence.
lol! £2m for a League One player who's Contract is up at the end of the season - Can I have some of what your taking please JA!!! He had one good chance today which unfortunately he missed but he didnt get any service (for me its because Hayes is on the bench meaning he cant hold up the ball which brings the Midfield of Stephens and Hollands up to support BWP) Definitely cant see how you can drop a player who has scored on average a goal every other game which we've not had since Bent left. The mark of a good striker is when they miss chances yet still pop up in the Box the next time the ball comes in
BWP contact isn't up- the club have a further 12 month clause. The only reason they opened negotiations is they want to pay him "what he deserves". Still our best player.
Yes but if the Club dont bring into force that further 12-month clause by January / February he'll have the ability to speak to other clubs!!
Not true. If we enforced it on December 30th then no club can talk to him. If we don't, no domestic club can talk to hom till end June. Slater confirmed this.
Agree we should keep him, also agree with AckAck's suggested price as being one we might consider, he has another year as stated, and another league one striker, CMS, went for £2.5m, so can't see how BWP would command a fee less than £1.5m minimum.
if we did sell him in jan if he doesnt sign a contract who would u bring in llyod sam?and how about frimpong on loan?
