Can someone sum up what the difference is this season coming regarding the member card please? Did I read something about advance tickets for the first half of the season? How will this work? Is it a genuine improvement?

Yes. It used to be only like this for branch members where tickets would be avaialbe in two blocks so you were almost guaranteed to get one. So now in July you can pick the games you want to go to for the first half of the season and likewise in January for the second half. Annoying for us branch members though as more competition

Oh and it was called All Red membership, think they've changed its name again. And yea, it's a massive improvement and benefit for only £30

Thanks Red - it seems a bit too good to be true tbh? Maybe the influx of new members this will drive will tip the balanace from 'almost guaranteed to get one' to 'might get one'??

I think I'll get one for me and my eldest though - it's worth a go - tickets for the big games are really hard to come by otherwise

The United fixture is always hard to get and I'd imagine still will be tough to go to, but I managed to go to Chelsea and Man City fairly easily this season so it's much easier than doing it the normal way. Even if you don't get tickets released in the summer, you still get priority over regular fans as you are offered tickets two days before usual tickets go on sale before the match, like with last year's All Red membership. Plus you get loads of 10% discounts for various tours and the shop too, it's worth it tbh <ok>
