Just the colour if it was a football top but when it comes to a Red rugby top it seems you are welcome even if you do throw up in the toilets, piss in the sinks ,spill beer all over other drinkers,be rowdy and just claim its rugby thing and just a day out, make a fecking mess around town with chip papers and pissing in shop doorways ............................ I came to this conclusion after myself and three mates were refused entrance to the Monks bar(Wetherspoons by the station) as we has Cardiff City football tops on .......... It was too far to go home and slip a red rugby top on and the join in the pissing and vometing ect ect so we went to O`Niels only to be asked on the way in to behave unless we would be removed!!!!!................fecking egg chassers eh, licence to be a moron ........;O)
football has a reputation dating back decades of hooliganism and thuggery, rugby doesnt really, when i used to watch wales at the millenium people could bring beer to their seats and act rowdily outside the stadium but you arent allowed to do that with football... you can thank the people who acted mindlessly years ago, and a select few idiots for why football fans are still in some instances treated badly and as you say refused entry to pubs etc......
DJR - I think the egg song you refer to has had some words changed to include our neighbours down west. Unless of course there were others I didn't hear.
Thats the one I keep hearing faint strains of...mainly from the Canton Stand but occasionally on the Bob Bank (Ninian). No! just no. Another one referenced Joe Allen and Jimmy Saville ffs Do we now lack sufficient imagination to come up with new chants without sinking this low?
DJR ,yes the pink hats and the .."BEND DOWN,TOUCH,ENGAGE before a scrum makes u think innit???? ;O) H, i totally agree as im just behind the goal in the Canton and its just about 20 or so starting that crap and they should leave the Albright alone ..............
taff - the song goes like this and they were singing, you jack bast.ards touched by their fathers and i dont know the last line
I think its a bit stronger than touched and the last line is something like "since you were nine". All a bit childish really.
