Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the daily mirror keeps running internet articles with negative spin about Saints! Here are a couple of examples Osvaldo did a interview in Italy a couple if weeks ago where he mentioned about being surprised the premier league was more physical then he expected, in the mirror article this became osvaldo can't cope with the premier leagues physical side! In the same article he also said that he would love to maybe finish his career at boyhood supported club Boca juniors, the mirror twisted this to Osvaldo wanted out of Saints and the premier league and was plotting a move to Argentina I now see the daily mirror are running a headline that says Pochettino calls Poland liars over Artur Boruc seat on the bench for the England v Poland game! I seriously doubt that Pochettino would say such a thing and it's the mirrors way of putting negative spin on a story involving Saints My thoughts on these and a few other negative spin articles coming in the disguise if "journalism" from the daily mirror is that either it's a pompey supporting journalist writing these articles or some how "bigger clubs" have influence at the daily mirror and are trying unsettling tactics aimed towards Southampton fc !
It's more that the Daily Mirror has something against low revenues, and therefore are more than happy to run spurious stories if it gets clicks.
Alan Nixon (one of the Mirror's main football guys) had a sudden turn and started being very anti-Southampton too. Seemingly overnight, he started talking about how Cortese doesn't have a clue and stuff like that. The Mirror's articles are now reflecting that. Never mind, it's the bloody Mirror.
That's not really the point, I was more wondering why the mirror wants to turn trash everything Positive that is wrote about Saints, Unless that is there main readership is portsmouth based
Interesting idea! They would only go and publish parts of my letter so they can then twist it to make it look negative
Find out who wrote the piece in the Mirror, find out where they live, hang around their house in the middle of the night, confront them on their doorstep whilst wearing an ice hockey mask & holding a plank of wood with nails in it. It's always worked for me.
Just don't buy papers. Most of them are just cut and paste from somewhere else. I wouldn't believe the date in most of them.
