Why cant we win? Today we had 21 shots and just under 65% possession...... 99/100 times this see's the team win comfortably but again today we couldn't kill the game off, I've said it quite a lot and stand by it, One day we will give a team a right hiding, That will come when we hit a bit of confidence, Just before Colchester scored I said in my head "Just our luck that we'll concede now" It was so typical, then 74 minutes into the game we finally tap one home. Truth is today we should of won 2/3 nil but we again walk away disheartened and peed off. SOD, IMO is getting it right but the results don't match the performances, It's no good booing as its not what the team need, Im of course gutted and frustrated that we haven't won a game, To be honest I thought we would be in the top 6 now, Not the bottom. A unbeaten streak can come at any time and I feel it will be soon. I'm still keeping the belief that this season will be a good one and come March we will be laughing at the cries for "SOD out". We are trying to play pretty pretty football in a league where you need some nastyness, i feel elliot should be starting we need someone who rattles opposing players in the middle i would like wynters in front our ****e defence too when hes fit, id like harewood to start the odd game particulary away from home so when under pressure and we resort too hoof ball there is someone who may hold it up and retain it, i know swansea went up playing nice footie but we must get a foot hold in a game before trying to pass into a net. Also where is carey he came on at the end against the gas is he injured again? Would like williams to get a rest as think his confidence is being destroyed
People may not agree but I think when Wynter is back, Wagstaff and Bryan should be dropped for Elliott and Wynter. We don't play with width so its pointless having wide players when we cant play their game. Our best game came when we played 4 CM's in the 2-0 win at Gillingham. Elliott and Wynter will allow Reid and Pack to go forward and they can sit back and help the defence. Still everyone of us has a different opinion, Someone will say Bryan and wagstaff should start
what we need is a nasty little **** like Joey Barton in the middle not afraid to get his foot stuck in
We need movement, it's nice to hold onto the ball but with this passing back and forward across the back four, but the players apart from Wagstaff need to move about and create something for them to pass too. I thought some of them were playing moving statues ahead of the ball today. Sorry but Brendon Rogers says if you have the higher percentage of possession you have 79% chance of winning the game, we seem to be in that 21%
