    we've undersold him at £1.5m though, you also have to question why the board would allow him to leave when we havnt even appointed a new manager. possibly they have already chosen the manager and he recommended the sale? (pure speculation)

    Only one year left of his contract, I am sure we'd have got another million if he had another few years on his deal.

    Malaysians flying in this weekend to finalise new manager decision for "next week". BBC Wales TV news so it must be true. <doh> FFS get a move on.

    Perhaps Chops leaving clears the old Sunderland debt so further improves the balance sheet after the PMG deal and frees up salary for........Earnie, maybe? Swamp's suggestion sounds good.<ok>

    I would take a free Earnie and Sunderland debt cleared for the sale of chops. IMO great Business if we get our Earnie back he will score goals work his shocks off and appreciate the clubs fans!!
