Doesn't bother me, anything we do to increase casual supporters to games is fine by me, it will still improve the game for the rest of us if more people turn up.

may be ok for some who have plenty of money but for me and my wife who are retired and on a pitiful pension it seems like a kick in the teeth and why should we bother to get a season ticket next season

In what way is it costing you any money?

People filling what would otherwise be empty seats can only benefit us as club and therefore passholders. If they did it regularly you may have a point, but as it is I certainly support anything to get more people in.

It may be that the club are trying to get more casual supporters through the turnstiles and believe that If the people who buy the ticket didn't get the free one they may only come the once. If they come to 2 games (by having the free ticket) they may be more inclined to come again, and may become season ticket holders next year. Just a guess though.

Plus season ticket holders do have the incentive that (I suspect) they get to see all the games for less money than if you paid on the gate for every game (even with a free ticket thrown in).

I think the Allams will be losing a lot more than you its a shame that after saving our club they have to do promotions like this to get the people of this city to the KC!
Mine and my sons tickets went down £40 combined I was happy to pay £350 its a good deal and if i have a choice of sitting with 20000 rather than 15000 whats it matter whos paying what?
Its disapointing to read such a negative thread on the Allams trying to do something about our attendances

There are these promotions every (well most and usually not as early) season and the same arguments from some season ticket holders pops up, so if they sre that bothered why havent they learnt their lesson and save their money and just go to the games with promotions on

Don't mind these offers. Brings in more revenue and the more who come in the more company for us pass holders.
Will not stop me buying my season ticket, first in the queue for the Wembley tickets.

Got the response i hoped for

I believe the freebies are a panic or knee-jerk reaction following our poor start to the season,it happened last term

before anyone wants to comment i have been a keen supporter for over 40 yrs but it gets my goat when ive paid all up front then offers are made when attendances are falling because the casual supporters are not attending

Hopefully City can start entertaining the casual supporters, we need them to get hooked to fill up the Upper East Stand (if we ever get it).

I really don't care as a season ticket holder...

I think it is a great idea, and one that will cost the owners, so it is generous.

If anyone reads to the end of the OWS blurb they will see that it says the season ticket holders will be rewarded soon...I don't expect a refund, as the club wont be giving money back (no business should). I think there may be a free game offer, or some sort of gift.

Either way - not fussed - just want full houses!
