Keep your heads boys, 7th at christmas would have been the best we would realistically have predicted. The worry is quite clearly at centre back, we need 2 in January if Williamson can't stay fit. We are still playing very well, we just dont have the solid foundation any more. We need Ben Arfa to start with Ba and we would score more and might win 4-3 ;) Keep the faith, things could be a lot, lot worse :D

I think starting HBA will encourage us to keep the ball on the floor.

we play some really nice stuff when we are not playing hoofball

im sorry, i didnt realise i was in an exam?, sir

good job i can spell the word twat,

TWAT!

Jesus mate, it was in jest. Someone earlier in the thread joked about it and at a quick glance I saw a mass off ... in your post. Not really necessary to start labelling me a twat is it? Calm down.

In response to your slur about me not being involved in the 'subject at hand', i'd respond to the OP by saying 'we're in a bad run'. It's not difficult to work out what's going on.

I don't think Pardew is telling the team to play hoofball. Fact is we missed Cabaye today. He normally collects the ball from the defence and sprays it out wide. Vuckic couldn't get into the game and isn't used to dropping that deep, and Tiote doesn't have great distribution. Perch and Simpson aren't the most composed and often play long diagonals to get us out of trouble. Add to this the fact that WBA were very well organised and compact and it is understandable why we hit a few long balls.
