Unfortunately i wasn't able to go to the game today as it was my little girls birthday party so i had to give my ticket to my bro and have just had to take what i could from little snippets from the radio and feedback off my bro.

Bendtner sounded like he played well as did brown and im over the moon for Ji. The biggest concern tho is that i was told on thursday by a mate at the club that gyan was off to the middle east but at the time i just thought it was a load of balls how wrong was i??

what gets me narked is that if it is true about the deal being done on thursday why did the club wait until 90 minutes before kick off to break the news. were they trying to hide it from the majority of fans who would be most likely in the pubs or on route to the ground! supposedly gyan has been trying to engineer a move since he came back to pre-season and asked for a pay rise to 90k a week and we said no, i dont know what he was on originally but why not after what happend with bent did we not try to challenge gyan to earn a new contract at the end of this season rather than just say no and then ship him out leaving us short.

Im now really worried that we are heading for a relegation battle as if bendtner gets injured we are left with 2 inexperienced kids. I fear that the fans will turn on bruce next week and if quinn doesnt come out and explain the clubs actions fans may start to turn on him aswell over the next few weeks especially if we dont start scoring and winning.

I am safc till i die but i fear that bruce will drag us down despite spending a fortune this season and still hasnt filled the positions we have been short of for 2 seasons, he has bought some good players in but i doubt he will get the best out of them.

I agree with you, very worrying......I am also worried about the silencs from Quinny and the anger on Bruces face on motd post match interview......SOMETHING IS AFOOT......I think that bruce is an average manager..but i will not accept that he is dishonest.....I blame asshole and the board......im afraid that the problem is finance and that short has lost interest in his new toy......why would the board leave bruce in this position......only one senior striker and hes a loanee....and two for the future strikers...morover why was Bruce not given the money to buy a senior striker.....my conclusion is that the money is not there and we are going to limp on for another season.......survival...... yes,europe.......... no,entertainment......only if you like pain.... bruceM sacked ...............no .........I think he will walk................yes there is troublei paradise...but its not all down to Bruce....SHORT AND QUINNY must accept some blame and although i hate to say this,
come next season I have a feeling that only one of those three names will be here come next summer.........I need a beer..make that six ..why wasnt i born in essex ................then i could support Man U

I just can't understand what is happening at Sunderland. They have a set up that is the envy of most clubs (certainly Newcastle) and, by all accounts, look after the players well. Yet they can't seem to command any kind of loyalty.

Maybe it's just bad luck in bringing the wrong kind of characters in, but Gyan leaving at a time he can't be replaced, and to the mighty UAE of all places, is pure embarrassment for Bruce. He must be utterly furious and he sounded like it in his interview.

But surely this move could not have been arranged within the last day or so?
