As soon as I heard Terry was out for this game I knew we would suffer at the back. Why didn't Cahill get a look in? He wouldn't have made our defence any worse! I can't even see what AVB is trying to do with his team selections
Let's be fair, we didn't suffer too badly at the back, it was a stunning strike from Sinclair and nothing could be done. It's the other end I'm worried about! Mata behind Torres is the ONLY way.
Varier2, absolutely with you on Luiz, amazing what a bit of time to settle in can achieve. He's looking like a very good purchase, as much for his sheer enthusiasm, and energy. Wish a few others put in as much. AVB is worrying me big time with his selections and formations. So predictable and slow to change. With his lack of experience, he needs a bit of luck and a lot of bottle to shake the lethargy out of this rabble. So far don't think he's got either. However, as Luiz has improved with time, let's hope the Manager does likewise. Tough job to sort out the mess that is our current squad.
