This was a question asked by a non Sunderland supporter where i am ccurrently working. The reply came fom a scouser of all people who said that Bruce was obviously aware so many new players would take time to bed in so he was probably going all out to get as much of next seasons squad together for the start of training and pre season matches.
Seems logical to me.

What is a marquee signing. A marquee is big tent. Does this mean the club will
sign a contract with someone who hires out tents so they can place them around to cut the massive queues for a pint at half time.
