If my gin was as aged as our proposed forward line, it would be a Collectors Edition. Lets get this season done & dusted and hopefully, commonsense will prevail. I'm all about having senior players influence the younger ones but .............
Minimal possession, and grab a goal on the break....hope GA has his sights on some decent defenders and some nippy wingers...not the geriatrics and sick notes we've got at the moment
Not sure that’s the best way to get the fans on board for the new revolution. There has to be better out there for what we would be paying surely!
I'm not as adverse to Martin as most on here. Wouldn't mind him as a back up to Armstrong and whoever else starts up top.
Me too, wouldn't be a starter but he's chipped in with some goals and presumably would come relatively cheap. If GA is going to be pragmatic he'll need different options.
I’m probably in the minority but I’d rather not have GA next season. I appreciate we’ve survived but his record has been shocking and style of play some of the worse I’ve seen. I don’t think there was any masterful tactics going on in the last two games, we got lucky as Stoke and Burnley didn’t take their chances. If we’re going to rebuild I don’t want him doing it.
I’m with you on this but cannot see him being moved on til after 10 games or so next season, with “his” players and the creative bones ripped out of the squad. Hope I’m wrong, wouldn’t be the first time
There’s no way he will be moving on now (unless there’s a ‘political’ situation within the club around incoming/leaving players between the board/DoF and the management) Right or not for the club, he will be running the show at kick off next season. We will all have to deal with it. Could be a bumpy ride and some very difficult posts to read on here if it doesn’t work out positively.
