Easy Tiger! You don't have the knowledge to make those accusations. Cellino was happy to talk to them & forged a 'Plan B' to go in with them if he got chucked out by the FL. I should imagine contracts were struck to that effect, should Plan B' be required, and you don't sign contracts unless all parties are convinced that the required monies/agreements are in place. And before you say it was all talk, I suggest you have a re-think. You don't, for instance, announce publicly who will be Chairman if Plan B comes into play - it would seriously damage the reputations of all concerned if there was noting legally binding to substantiate such an announcement. These are all tried & tested serious businessmen who were keen to be involved. How can you possibly defame them when you know fcuk all about them? Sometimes you drive me to despair, Glory. That for me ensures that they've earned the right to have a voice. What evidence (apart from opinion) do you have to assert your view that they shouldn't have a voice? Cannot afford? Cellino certainly thought they had enough money! Where's your evidence that they didn't have enough? No right to? Who the fcuk are you to decide who has or has not the right to enter into a contract? Individually these guys are all top blokes, but 'Together' they're a bunch of gobshytes and would only try to outshine each other in the media. Il Duce' won't allow that but unless Cellino's son or daughter are brought in as MD/CEO there may be something for one of them, and as has been mentioned earlier GFH have shares to sell. However will GFH sell as the value of them shares can only go upwards if Il Duce' does what he says he's going to do? When is he buying back ER/TA by the way, because I'm sure a few weeks ago he said he was seeing his bank manager as soon as he is confirmed as owning the club?
Doc, see my previous post re. your first paragraph. Re. your second paragraph, Cellino is on record as saying that the purchase of ER will now take place before the end of 2014. I believe this is because the club is in even more debt than he was first led to believe. He was rather less than complimentary to GFH when he announced this.

TL openly stated they were going to use blue chip investors to fund their TO. Now these investors would be loaning money to TL. What do you think TL would be using as collateral? The answer is LUFC. Hence they were intent on leveraging the club. No surprise Farnan watched the glazers do it over the hills. So to cut to the quick they wanted the club without having the means to buy it.
