If you are at a loose end this weekend without a football fix why not try, Weston Super Mare v Brislington 3pm kick off at the Woodspring stadium. Brislington visit at a good time for this FA cup qualifying game after The Seagulls took a battering from Ebbsfleet last weekend, this could be an interesting game, especially if Brislington score first. £12 to get in.! A nice tidy little ground with plenty of seating if required and Weston have plenty of ex city academy players on show. (Ashley Kington, Tristan Plummer, Jordan Walker and others) http://westonsmareafc.co.uk/match/1224/
Points scoring with the wife today - went out for a meal last night (watched England on Sky+ when I got home) - will share a bottle of red tonight
Washed the car early. Was gonna cut the lawn for hopefully the last time, but of course it rained. So have had lunch and am enjoying a bottle or 9 of Stella before Soccer Saturday starts. Takes the pressure and pain off when we're not playing and for the first time in 7 months I wont be depressed on a Saturday night Happy days......
Game ended 3-2 to Brislington, it was a very entertaining and eventful game, well worth £12. The Ref was absolutely shocking second half and missed about 3 dead cert penalties for Weston (and thats giving him the benefit of the doubt too!) Real terraces, a 24 man brawl. and a good few City fans to boot.. Real football...
Went to one of my old clubs, Bristol Manor Farm & enjoyed a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, plenty of excellent football & bag loads of passion...result, The Farm won 3-2 against Bridport, who is managed by ex-Reading player, Trevor Senior!
I've been shopping for Golf Sets. Shouldn't really be wasting money on them but love Golf and want some decent Irons!
Where did you look? I found the ones I wanted and searched the net to find the best price. I got Ping G15's but not played in a 18 months so my mate borrowed them now.
