agree mate, my time difference is 7 hours, so a 3 o clock kick off means its 10 and the late kick off really does me, its ok having a bevy before the match, but when the game doesn't start till midnight, usually had a session and the game kinda passes by, good job they replay them next day.Saturdays, even if they are match days, are always crap for me.
Yes I take your point commachio about the fishing in shorts, pretty much the same as New Zealand there is so much to do and indeed so much I do do.
However the one thing that I just cannot seem to get away from is that Saturday morning match day feeling. The killing time before kickoff and the rituals involved around going to the game, everyone seems to have their own.
So I get up around 6 which is 22 ý hours to kick off for me, might do some fishing or shooting or go to the beach and chill. Perhaps a barbecue or a meal out, all the while counting the hours down to kickoff. The big question……. get pissed or stay sober. You get pissed you might not get up in time for kick off you stay sober and the night drags….
Everything else about life here is great; it’s just those long long Saturdays
so as nice as it is here, i still miss the sat. match thing,
