After a bit of a thought about who is the top London club, I got chatting with my mate about who you would have in your team from a selection of Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal. So this is how it turned out: Chech cole vermalen King Sagna Parker Essien Bale modric Sturridge RVP So my team would have 4 spurs players, 4 chelsea players and 3 arsenal players. Do you think this is about right? Do you think Arsenal have the weakest squad out of the top London clubs, with spurs and chelsea about equal?
I wouldn't pick that side based upon this season's form, to be honest. Perhaps this: Cech; Walker, King, Koscielny, Cole; Parker, Modric; Dempsey, Mata, Bale; Van Persie. A few debatable ones in there.
Well, the best players from each of those three sides are (in no particular order):- Cech Friedel Walker Sagna Kaboul Luiz Vermaelen King Song Parker Modric VDV Mata Bale Lennon Adebayor Defoe RVP Sturridge Pick your squad from those!
I wouldn't put Cech as my GK - he's been far worse this season compared to his usual standards. But here's mine: Szczesny Walker Kaboul Vermaelen Sagna Mata Modric Bale Parker RVP Drogba 2 Chelsea, 4 Arsenal, 5 Tottenham
Agree with most of that PNP, the front 6 in particular looks superb. Don't really understand why the Goons rate Koscielny to be honest, I'd throw in Hangeland instead of him. I'd probably have Szczesny over Cech, and Benny over Cole too, based on this season's form. So: Szczesny, Walker, King, Hangeland, Benny, Parker, Modric, Dempsey, Mata, Bale, RVP.
