    Agree. Appears minor but Nolan hasnt the pace to play up front but his experience means he can play in the centre of midfield. Ireland is a lot more mobile.

    To me we are safe and we need to give him a proper run in the team - a bit like what Ameobi needed when he first started as 10 minutes here and there hinders progression. Either that or he should be playing 70 mins in reserve games to compliment these 10 mins slots

    I agree, defo start with willo at the back, he has been solid of late. I also think guthrie can feel a bit hard done too. he played well against wolves, nobody played well at villa, so he cant take the blame there and he was outstanding on tuesday against the mancs.

    Guthrie's out, pretty much gave up his season to play on tuesday when we needed him.

    That's also why I had Nolan in the more attacking role because Ireland has more pace to get up and down the pitch. Nolan is a great player but I think he's even better playing off of a striker

    This is what Pardew is most likely to play. This is probably our strongest line up and there is no reason to change it.

    I'd personally go:
    Krul
    Simpson Willo Colo Jose
    Raylor Tiote Barton Jonas
    Nolan Lovenkrands

    With Nolan playing just behind Lover and Ireland and Ferguson featuring from the bench. I don't normally like 4-5-1 but with Blackpools attacking mentality maybe it will be ok.

    Will be interesting to see the selection since this week the team doesnt pick itself and we have a few options available.

    Lover can really take advantage of a bad defence though with his experience, he was excellent v West Ham and Wolves. Shola doesnt seem to be any different against different opponents, he doesnt seem to use his experience.

    Subs: Soderberg, Saylor, Raylor, Ferguson, Richardson, Ranger, Lovenkrands

    Ireland and Nolan switching at times to confuse Blackpool's questionable defence.

    I'd like to see the team get a good lead in the first half, so we can see about 30 mins or so of Ranger, Richardson and Ferguson.

    3-0to the toon, Ireland, Nolan and Ranger scoring.
