Where should we be going ... a morale conundrum .. you decide

Sheik Itupbaby buys NUFC and hands gazillions of English pounds to Alan Pardew with orders to topple Man City

Fat Ash holds on to NUFC, gives AP 'all' of the 3.5 Million he got from the AC sale to strengthen in the summer

Straight talking Irish wideboy Michael O'Leary snaps up NUFC for 12 euro, [email protected] become sponsors for another Euro, you get charged for arriving at SJP without having pre booked your seat online, yet somehow NUFC become a formidable force in the Prem

All depends on what happens in the summer, if he really wants to help improve the club or strip its assets.

I still find myself unable to trust him as he'll do nothing wrong for a good few months and then drop the mother of all bollocks.

His reputation is tainted forever in my eyes.

A sentiment shared by many I'm sure .. I was always brought up to see the good in folk and find myself slipping in and out of admiring, what could be argued as, Ashleys original business plans simply coming to fruition .. and quite successfully as well to be fair .. although more by luck and the good grace of Chris Hughton than anything else ..

As you say OT, everyone's just waiting for the next bombshell ..

Was the £3.5m figure a subliminal slip, or is that how Ashley will qualify the amount Pardew has to spend? "No Alan, there was clearly a decimal point".

    I voted Ashley.

I was going to use Sheik Mashoo Inda Air .. but that would have been stealing someone else's comedy quote ..(albeit funnier than mine) .. <laugh>

Although I share the same mistrust for Ashley as most of us, I sometimes think that this is a case of "better the devil you know" (No, not the kylie song) Mike Ashley has made more than his fare share of cock-ups and told us lies whenever he feels like it, but this does not mean that whoever buys the club will be any better, in fact they could be worse. (I know it's hard to believe sometimes).

Ashley seems content with what Pardew is doing and if he remains true to his word in the summer, we should be moving in the right direction, with the club enjoying the longest period of stability in quite a few years.

Ever since FFS sacked Sir Bobby the club has lurched from one crisis and ****-up to another. It seems weird to say this but I am actually beginning to look at our club optimistically.

But if Ashley does stay I wish that he would get rid of Llambias. The best bit of that bloke went down his mother's leg!!!

TBH mate, I'm treating him as a different owner now. Since we got relegated he has been like a different person.

I was never really part of the lynch mob anyway. Not because i liked him, but if he knows we hate him, and keep banging on about it, he will have no incentive to try to turn it around.

Agreed 100%, I've even used 'Better the Devil You Know" (not the Kylie song) myself! With the additional bonus that I'm really looking forward to matchdays again and going in actually expecting at least a performance and odds are a good result, which hasn't happened in the Premiership for a long time. Justifies the price of my ten year price frozen season ticket at the very least...

Cheers .. although having retained my 'newbie' status (mainly due to extreme workload since jumping over to not606) I don't actually know what that means :(

[edit]: Oh I see I'm a member now .. guess that happened at some stage today
