So, due to the complete shambles that the online season ticket sales were, I was charged a renewal price for a new season ticket (saving £25). So the question is, should I give this to the club or keep it for myself?
I would wait and see, because sometimes it goes pear shaped if you try and correct things. I'm sure you will spend that money at SMS over the coming year.
Honesty is the best policy, give them a ring and explain the mistake, you never know, they may reward your honesty, at least your conscience will be clear.
This. Sods laew if you don't you'll spend it and then they'll relaise the mistake and ask for the money!
Honestly I'd probably not mention it, and if they asked just say I hadn't noticed. It's only £25, it's not like you'll have to take out a loan to pay them back if they ask for it.
Your card will be invalidated and will not operate the turnstile on matchdays but instead will show a red flashing light with a loud voice shouting over the tannoy "Cheat". Marcus invested millions to save us and you debate whether you should give the club the money it is owed. Go to St Mary's and do the honest decent thing that any man wioth a shred of honour would have done straight away. Pay up.
Gheez man it's bad you have to ask! The tickets jumped loads this year....put it down to a bit of luck and keep ya mouth shut!
Give the money back in the form of purchases you wouldn't have otherwise made. That way it's win-win.
Tbf Dan‽, if it's only £25 as you say, then would you miss it..? I would ring the club and explain. If they say, thanks and don't worry about it, then you're in the clear and conscience free. Remember, it's not like it's a one-off purchase. Fans tend to be around their club for years.
No I used both of them to type. That way you can perform many functions at the same time. For example, press shift and individual letter keys at the same time to create capital letters.
I do give a fiver to UNICEF a month, and two more to the donkey sanctuary, but that is considerably less than 2p in the pound, as a percentage of my salary pro rata. It's a start, I'm sure you'll agree.
