Here you are in a situation where, for one reason or another, you have failed to secure promotion. The rug has been pulled from under your feet, you have very little funds to go to the transfer market with. It would seem that 2 year contracts for any type of decent player are out of the question. The Club is in serious debt and so far 10 players have left the Club with, perhaps, more to follow. Now where did I put that number for the Samaritans?
hess loves the club way too much to walkaway. hopefully he can find some players who can also fall in love with our little club and give their all for it everytime they are on the pitch
I'm sure he's working like crazy trying to secure deals at the moment but no point making rash signings. I agree with his comments about adding pace to the team. We were so pedestrian at times last season when Barcham and Oli were injured. Pace in wide areas is vital to succeed in this division, not only as an attacking weapon but also as a deterrent against opposition full backs trying to push to far forward.
