At the moment I believe we're sitting in 8th place and quarter finals of FA Cup?

What would people want to see in the final run of the league?

Do we go to rise up the league and try to achieve european position?

Do we try and stay steady in the league and go for the FA Cup?

Go like hell for both hoping the players wont tire out?

Personally I'd be more than happy to stay 8th and win the FA Cup

If we finish 8th we must get at least £35mil+?

FA Cup, if we were to get through to final playing against tottenhan, we'd be laughing!

Would still get into europe although i admit i'd want to win!

we won't finish higher than 7th (maybe we can catch liverpool), and we definitely won't go down, but if we won the f a cup i wouldn't give a toss where we finish in the league and if anyone is truely honest with themselves they would agree with me. Winning the f a cup is a once in a lifetime achievement

Fa cup winners over league, but don't see why we shouldn't try and win each game as it comes. We ain't got European games to balance with, and a fairly strong squad.
Fa cup finalists & 8th are not unrealistic.

We are 2 points behind 7th.

We are in a great position really, if we lose next week, there's a chance still there for 7th place (outside, sure, but if we maintained current form, we'd get it)

Would this get us into Europe if Liverpool failed to win the FA Cup?

    Blackburn (A)
    QPR (H)
    Man City (A)
    Spurs (H)
    Everton (A)
    Wolves (H)
    Villa (A)
    Bolton (H)
    Fulham (A)
    Man United (H)

There's a hell of a lot of winnable games in there, only City and Everton away, and Man United home looking probable defeats.

Blackburn away is tough, as they have picked up, as is Fulham, always strong at the Cottage, and Spurs at home.

I see us picking up a fair few points out of that, and maybe Sess ban (and 3 week rest) will be a blessing.

It's gonna be interesting, a win at Blackburn will really put us in the mix, stunning, considering where we were when MON came in.

Id say 15-17 points from that would be good, would give us a strong position too!

Yeah, I think, realistically, the Blackburn game will decide if we have a shot above 8th.

Win that, and we will be right in the mix, fail to win and we'd realistically be looking at 12 points mark, not enough for 7th IMO.

Our fixtures look good apart from that run of city, spuds and Everton. Any point from those three and we could be looking good!

Clearly an f.a.cup win would be great but looking at the teams left in the competition we are going to have to pull out at least three extraordinary performances starting with Saturday!

really greedy = Above Newcastle, FA Cup win. With the start both teams had, this will hurt for them (they wont admit it but it will).
Optimistic = within 2-3 points of Newcastle, FA Cup win.
Realistic = top 10, please be an FA Cup win. I have heard ppl say lets just get to Wembley in the semi final, why not just drop down 2 divisions and get in the LGV vans trophy (or whatever its called these days) Wembley = FA Cup Final (Not just the semis for me) and winning it.

tbh after the start we had, not going down is enough.
