If you are this government you sell it.Doesn't look good business strategy to me but I doubt if that is the main consideration.Dave and George's old school chums will snap up the shares and rook us all yet again.I'm with LLoyds, the minute they sell I am swirching my business account to the No Cop.

It all depends on how much value they are getting for the business, it needs to go into private hands again at some point, it's trying to pick the best point.

It doesn't NEED to go private. They just want it to for the wedge.

So you think Government is corrupt and bestows benefits to friends - yet you want to keep a bigger Government than necessary?

Give the taxpayers free shares in said bank.

Up to the individual if they want to stick or twist.

Creating wealth, that's what is needed.

****ing spivs, this government. It's all about short term gain so Gideon can claim at the next election that he's reduced the deficit. Meanwhile, they're blatantly trying to inflate the housing bubble at taxpayers expense so they can claim the market's on the move, rather than build the homes people actually need to live in.

Indeed, using tax funds to push house prices up further, so that the future generation can not afford housing. And who pays for the tax that is used to back these mortgages? The future generation, since the government is borrowing the money.

They are more likely than Labour to do it - but I do wish they wouldn't try to ban the gays getting married, try to stop me having a ****, try to leave the EU and try to keep brown people out.

If you want to see spamming, there's an autistic lad on the United board who starts at least 10 threads a day. He makes Acworth look quiet.
