So Sunday will see the return of former Saint Gareth Bale and ALOT has happened since he left for both parties. Gareth has emerged as one of the best players on the planet (for his position) and it warms me to think i watched him make his debut and progress before moving to pastures green. So the main question is how will you welcome him? Will you give him a good reception or will you boo him?

Wouldn't boo Gareth or any ex-Saint who hasn't harmed us or dissed us. He left when we needed money...just business. In the Echo, his parents said how thrilled they were when Saints got promoted. I'm sure Gareth was as well. Just want him to have a singularly off day with a couple of own goals:biggrin:

To be honest, i'm only concerned with what happens in the 11th minute (applause for Luey Sharp), to boo a player who left when it was obvious that he was too good for us at the time, by comparison, seems small minded and frankly a bit pathetic.

To be honest judging by the way a current player in the form of Guly Do Prado gets treated we have alot of small minded and pathetic fans <ok>

I think a polite clap when his name is called out and then treat him the same as the rest of the spurs team for the rest of the match.

Rio Ferdinand always gets a good clap when he comes home. He left us on good terms and has always spoken favourably about us. Jermain Defoe on the other hand.......

Bale is one of your youth products who has gone on to be a world class player and you should be proud. Booing him would be embarrassing.

I hope he leaves spurs soon though. He is a truly outstanding footballer and seeing him play for that mob isn't very nice.

Does break his leg count as an option? Or at least something to put him out the game ;)

Red card first minute and a penalty to us would be better ;)

would prefer him to score than any other spurs player, booing him would definitely be poor but if it puts him off his game...still I would rather he be respected as he is an excellent ambassador of saints youth program.

Why would anyone boo him? He left on good terms.

If he dives like he has done in the past then he will get a boo from me. You will be surprised at how many people will want to boo him Sunday even though he left on good terms!

I'd get Fonte to pull his hair back so hard he gets whip lash and gets subbed off.

I would clap, and then ironically boo him, a la Beckham at Old Trafford.

If we boo him, he will score. Although saying that, he'll probably score anyway!

It was Danny Fox and Morgan Schneiderlin. Part of their game plan.
