Yes I know it's early days, and no I'm not going to mention Grayson... With the Manager, and squad that we have got, what is the best we can hope to achieve this season...? Promotion ? Play offs? Midtable? Relegation? Although I hope for a play off place, I have to say I fear a relegation battle unless we get a working defence, and threatening attack in place soon based on what I have seen so far. Will be interesting to see how many points we have 6 games in....?
Play-offs. Yes, our performances haven't exactly inspired confidence but at least we're seeing the rubbish now while we've still got time to work on it.
About sixth from bottom. Hope there's enough outfits with worse defences than us to ensure we stay up

I hate to say it and hope I'm proved wrong...with Bates' lack of ambition and SG's lack of defensive nous we'll be lucky to achieve mid-table mediocrity.
The best we can hope for is auto. It would take a fair bit of luck with the current squad but they're still capable of the play-offs IMO. Add a good left back and some competition in CM and we could mount a serious challenge.

To answer the question... I wish I knew. I hope its at least a playoff, but even that fills me with dread. We seem to have a fate of coming a cropper at important games. Hold on... its going to be fun finding out !
your lot will be OK - probably 7th again......which must be about the ****iest place to end up after a hard season (unless your relegated of course) have a good one tomorrow!
