Tomorrow brings us a very crucial, if not critical, game against the Posh and based on our lack of form the result is anybody's guess. Whether we win tomorrow is somewhat irrelevant in the full scope of things and concerns about our future for the rest of the season is uppermost in most people's minds. We may appear to have the future when it comes to out of contract players who will probably move on during the summer and have longer term players who may seem more committed.

The real question is can we survive long enough to see that changing landscape come to reality or will we continue on our path to League One? To be perfectly honest I have lost faith in the ability of our leaders to approach our current situation in a way that could offer survival at least. The team selections boggle the mind and questios have been asked as to why certain players are still in the starting line-up every week. Surely the outright poor players along with the non-committed others should be dropped and replaced with those that have more to offer.

I cannot see the Jan transfer window helping unless the purse strings are opened and I'm not quite sure whether that is the way to go given our monetary restrictions. Like a lot of others I just hope that common sense will prevail and at least get us to put out a better squad to help us out of our plight.

Effort is the name of the game and how nice it would be to enter 2013 with some of that rare quality on show for us beleaguered supporters.

Bloody hell I'm getting old red but Ipswich was close. Same concerns though!
