Well we all know Arry can't help himself on deadline day, he must do some business, he's like a junkie searching for his fix that day. What does everyone think will happen???? Personally I think we will get one, yes only one player through the door that day, not sure who, for some strange reason I can see Stephen Fletcher leaving one asylum to join another, no reason, no in the know information just a weird thought that appeared from nowhere.
That's just reminded me... The inventor of the thesaurus died, popped his clogs, snuffed it, kicked the bucket, croaked it, fell off his perch this morning. Hopefully not sign anyone like Will Keane or Modibo Maiga or whatever his name was. I must say I'm getting a bit fed up of us during transfer windows. I can't shake off the feeling of impending doom that no matter who we sign they will be still be **** for us regardless.
Yes, we certainly have a few dead parrots in our closet - SWP comes to mind - too bad we can't return them from whence they came!
We NEED another left back. We NEED another right back. I'll be astounded by the lack of professionalism if we don't do that at least. After that, it'd be nice to have another striker on the books. I wouldn't turn down a good, dedicated winger as well, left footed. What I think will happen is that we'll end up with another midfielder that we don't need but is a good lad and will get paid loads. But that's just me being bitter.
Some boring old twunt will lean out of a car window, mutter some incomprehensible drivel and be thought of as a "character" by fawning TV sports journalists.
Normally, Harry would have bought half of Russia, two football teams from Brazil and a old geezer from Stoke on Trent but this window should see him do very little, if not squat. That is of course, providing Charlie behaves and stays with us and doesn't do a Remy. Speaking of Remy, hope we can get him on a loan for the remainder of the season ...........do it Harry, do it!
Exactly, expect Natalie in a yellow dress and Arry talking about what great signings Chelsea and United have made. Maybe an odd aside about a smashing lad as we get some sick note from Spurs.
Our goals conceded record confirms we need a decent, quick new CB with a good view of what's going on around him, to play alongside one of our current ones. We also need a quick left sided wide player who can get past players both sides and deliver a decent cross. I doubt Austin will score many more without one. Rather expect we won't get either.
I read in the Times the other day that we still have Samba Diakite on the books, and that a deal had fallen through because we couldn't agree a fee. Surely we should have said 'Take him!'
