What will become of us?

    I’m worried.

    With the addition of Cisse to the front line and a few more quality additions to the squad to come I’ve become fearful that I’ll eventually become complacent and bored when we win the league, domestic cups and Champions League year after year.

    I’d hope that somewhere I’d think “Enjoy it! We’ve waited for this for so long” but then I’ll look back on the travails and tribulations we’ve had to go through and miss them.

    I’ll miss losing matches. I’ll miss getting thrashed by the likes of Man Utd and Barcelona. I’ll miss having players who aren’t world class.

    I fear that part of me will long to return to days where success is just a fantasy word never used in common parlance about my football club. It will be a blurry dot far off on the horizon that will never come closer or clearer.

    I fear.

    I fear I might have to support Sunderland to feel those feelings again. ;)

    Rest assured, Shola will never retire, so we will always have him.

    We are obviously going to win the league some time soon, just enjoy the Best/Shola partnership whilst you can.

    Every January Tiote, Ba & Cisse will leave for ACoN, so we can can get nostalgic and do some Scholes/Henry esque loans....bring back Asprilla & Ketsbaia

    Is it every Jan? I thought it was every 4 years.

    I'm looking forward to seeing Cisse play, you guys seem to have a great negotiator at the Club.

    Thought it was every other year, but heard people say it'll be changing to a summer competition. No sauce though.

    So they play ACoN and then the World Cup? <yikes>

    I thought the ACoN issue was brought up a bit more regularly than 4 years.
