Up with the larks this morning as I was on the pop last night saving myself for today (too bloody old to do both these days and I've always prefered New Year Day out) so perusing the websites and sports news channels for snippets of gossip. Looks like we are being linked with some very good players and if we did pull off 2 or 3 key signings we could have a great run to May. Top 10 for sure. Several clubs are sweating on their key players moving on and if they did, they might not have such a good time. Wouldn't that be heart breaking? Lol I think Man Utd will storm away with the league from here and Chelsea look the most likely to push them than Man City, to finish 3rd and I think they might part company with Mancini by May. I fancy Arsenal to complete the top 4 easily with Everton 5th. The second half of the season sorts the men from the boys and over the next 10 games, I fancy us to take a grip of our season and kick on. Our future is very bright under Martin's stewardship and I am looking very much upward not downward. We can sit back and enjoy the day now and look forward to picking up draw at least tomorrow imo. Our tactics will again suit the game at Anfield for us and we may well surprise them. Looking forward to this transfer window and the rest of the campaign and a topper 2013.
2013 is a massive year for us we have the nucleus of a pretty decent squad but its obvious we are still lacking 4 players to go straight into the line up. If we get the signings right in and address the weaknesses then we can go on and finish the season strongly, that will give us a good foundation to try and get Rose here in the summer along with another 2 or 3 very good players to improve us even more so this month will set the foundations for the long term. we had a under par 2012 on the whole lets hope 2013 is much better Ha'Way the Lads
