A cracking performance and result on Sunday and all this shambolic nonsense will drift away quicker than than a Simon Cowell boy bands success. If the team go out and deliver a fire and brimstone 90 mins and get something from the game or even just some credibility, then we will be able to talk about the football and PDC's influence instead of the **** all story currently giving journalists a hard on. If we can scrap for the 6 or 7 points needed and save the campaign then this will not be a story come May but his new players and transfer activity will. Football has to be the only important issue here and before long that will be the case. In the meantime, we have become the most talked about football club in England and maybe even the whole of Europe for the last 24 hours and as they say, bad publicity is better than no publicity so PDC has already catapulted us into the headlines inside 24 hours. There will be many people now watching us just to see if he can turn this around; people who prior to his appointment wouldn't have bothered either way. Some may want us to fail; some to succeed but we have a higher profile today than we did the day before and thats not a bad thing at all imo.
HHHHHmmmmmmm? I wonder if we will become one of SKY's popular clubs? Maybe get more then 3 minutes at the end of MOTD?
