My first game would have been very early 1950s. Cannot remember who we were playing but John Charles was at centre half and a guy called Brooks was at centre forward. I was about 12 went with my pal on are bikes left them outside the ground and went into the boys end. On the way home we went train sporting at Copley sheds. Sorry cannot remember the score but got me hooked. Different world then.

cant remember the year but guessing 1968/9 against Liverpool because Ron Yates was their ugly CB along with Hunt, St John and seem to remember Yates scoring?

Unusual one from me - Leeds came to play a pre season match at Firhill, home of my beloved Partick Thistle. Had to shut my mouth for the whole game as I supported both sides. No segregation in those days, so guess I was fairly safe. Think it as in the early 80s & believe it or not, the score of 2-0 to the Jags sticks in my head, but I have no idea if this is accurate. Alcohol was consumed. In the ground. Cans in my Adidas shoulder bag.

I cannot remember my first game but it was probably in the season 1945/46. The reason I remember is that season Bradford Park Avenue beat Leeds 9 goals to 4 at Bradford. I think A.H Gibbons scored four goals for Bradford. He was an amateur international. That was in the war time Football League North.

    Leeds 1 - 2 Liverpool

Remember it as though it was yesterday. We took the lead and then Liverpool equalized just before HT, then Jack Charlton slipped in the second half to hand Liverpool an undeserved 2nd goal and we couldn't quite get an equalizer.

Stood on a box on the Lowfields Road terrace with my Dad and was completely hooked from then on.

I can’t remember my first game. There I said it.

I remember watching us beat the blunts 5-1... in the early 70’s but I could have sworn tony currie scored a screamer for them... which having just checked, he didn’t!

I remember my dad saying I was too young to go to the evening kick off for the Barcelona game in ‘75 so the Cnut took his mate. Things have never been the same between us.

October 1973, played some Norwegian team in the Uefa cup, and won 6-1.

My cousin was meant to go, but couldnt make it, so my uncle took me instead and I was hooked after that

yes duncan Mc Kenzie fantastic individualist player liked to take on the opposition on his own ha ha great player and super skill he used to jump over mini cars on the elland road pitch , dont think they would allow it these days in case of injuries etc and he scored some vital goals
