    Following on from the article about first games, what was everyone's first away game? Sorry for those who haven't been away yet, but those who have, where was it and what was the score.

    Mine was 12 years ago today. Leeds United 0-1 NUFC...I was reminded by nufc.com

    Only started going this summer due to not being from a real football fanatical family (rare breed in my family, me and my uncle) so was Carlisle 0-3 NUFC in pre-season.
    Only been to a handful more since, Rangers, Citeh, Wigan and Blackburn on Saturday will be my 5th <ashamedsmiley>

    93/94 Lost 2-0 at Sheffield United, who got relegated for the following week, yet we finished 3rd, behind Man Utd and Blackburn.

    West ham away probs 05 maybe 04

    Toon went 1-0 up i think it was dyer or shearer to score
    good goal got the hammers back in

    late in the match free kick STEPHEN CARR!!!!!!, was right behind the net and i never screamed so loud and also was my first bet on a football match, won 25 quid.

    First away game with my dad. 7 years old Coventry 1 - 2 Newcastle 1988. Just checked on youtube.

    Still havent managed to get to an away game (never had enough money) but hoping to get to one by the end of this season, was meant to be going to blackburn away but doesnt look like its happening anymore :(

    my first was the swansea game last season 1-1 with a certain person scoring a late equaliser. Let's just focus on the fact Best put the cross in for that one...

    Away to Sheff Wed and we won 2-1 on Boxing Day in 1989 I think. My dad was a Owls fan so we had to sit with the home fans - great day
