What was up with Ashbee at the end of the game? He was a bit odd today a bit of banter from the east stand and he gives them the finger! He grabbed his knob towards them after a bit of stick. Then at the end i was waiting to give him the send off he deserves and he shot down the tunnle like a rocket no wave clap anything? left a bitter taste for me PB came over and just clapped the preston fans but fair enough hes a twat i just expected bett.er from Ash.
wondered where he was at the end, shame to hear, obviously still very bitter about his exit and the club at the minute....shouldnt take it out on the fans tho.

Ashbee disappointed me today really. I appreciate everything he's done for the club but if your upset about leaving surely you'd've gave Nigel the finger instead of the fans who sang his name a few weeks ago
Very dissapointed in Ash, thought he would have acknowledged the support he has been given during his time here. Its not our fault he left. Browny should have clapped the whole stadium not just his new fans at the end. Both have lost a bit of the respect I and many more had for them.

He spent most of the game fiddling with his nuts. Agreed though that they both let themselves down at end - plenty stayed to applaud Browny and he didn't seem to give a sh*t.

ash would have run into a brick wall for us.was it v villa when he got a long term injury again,50/50 against milner i think,probably the only player in our team at that time who would go in for a hard tackle .we all move on good luck to ash.
He didnt just flash his finger neither he held it up for a bit thats why they started "thats why we ****ed u off" like i say its a shame he acted the way he did it wasnt a bit of banter there was no smile or wink. On a similar note gerrard passed back to guzan to a a chorus of jeers from the east stand to which he turned and mouthed "**** off" but 2 mins later nodded in the winner and ran stright to the east stand! i like that
To be fair, the KC is full of morons nowadays who jeer everytime somebody doesn't play an inch-perfect 70 yard pass.
don't like the sound of that by either Ash or Brown.. they'll both always be City legends.. I suppose Ash felt let down by the City fans.. as for Brown well he has to show the PNE support where his heart lies.. even if he secretly loves us he can't show it or he'd get rollocked.. compare this to NP's interview after the game when he was very complimentary to North End..! a winner & a gentleman..
