He was absolutely exceptional! His best game in a QPR shirt, and that says a lot. Only matched by Silva for technique and passing range, but beating Silva for accuracy! Equally proud of the rest, fantastic all round performances
Someone will still say he was ****, is too slow, can't head it, only passes it three yards etc etc. Another very good game.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Ali is a class act and we'll do well to hold onto him. His vision, use of the ball, passing accuracy and general guile are a real asset to the Rs. I'll forgive his lack of pace if he improves his shooting accuracy and final ball into the box.
He was superb, only downside is if he does that consistently he will be well and truly on some big clubs' wish list - could see him at home in any passing team - which we, to my delight, were tonight. Mr Fernandes and Neil - keep him happy!
He's here, he's there, he's every ****ing where, Ali Faurlin, Ali Faurrrrrrlin He was definite MOTM today, controlled city's midfield, was back defending at times and at the edge of the box when we attacked, couldnt ask for more from him today
Except for that goal against Wolves of course. You really know f*ck all about this game don't you? Think you will find that his goals to shots ratio this season is an infinite percentage higher than Adel's.
you are obviously not a ranger if you have not seen him playing week in week out and have just seen one goal on match of the day
77 - you need to open your eyes - Ali has consistently been one of our top players this season - his distribution is great, and as a holding midfielder he's not expected to score twenty goals a season, so get of his back and go be negative on someone else's board.
As I said "great performance" but that shot he had with a few minutes to go, it would have been better if he tried to distribute it
It's becoming more and more apparent that Taarabt is not a luxury we can afford in the PL - 29 shots, 0 goals, 0 assists so far this season. With Faurlin and the rest playing like this, how long do we wait for things to start happening for him? Is he still an automatic name on the team sheet? Maybe harsh, but in the PL you just can't afford to give the ball away cheaply when there are world class players who can capitalise on the smallest mistake. Taarabt was sensational last year, but he seems a million miles away from that player at the moment.
Mate. Really? It's a comment related to Faurlin (and the others' - we were not a one man team - performance) this evening. Reflecting that performance and discussing/commenting on Adel's future in the team in relation to that performance. Since when is a thread required to be so one dimensional? Or should we all just say the same thing - ad infinitum?
I am one of the biggest fans of Faurlin and have praised him after pretty much every single way, but I actually thought this wasn't one of his best games, he was great in the 2nd half but I don't think that he matched up to the others' high standards in the 1st but oh well
My point excactly And by the way lads, lay off Taarabt, he didn't even feature today for Christ sake!
