At the request of SaintsFanAlex what subject re Saints do we all want to discuss that isn't covered elsewhere?

How about where do we see Saints in 5 years time?

Speaking personally I'd be happy with a premier position in the top ten.
 
I could see us being in our 3rd or 4th year in PL, being a decent mid-table team. Question might be where does NC see himself. Will he be here in 5 years? After all, he is highly employable and may want new pastures by then.

Nooooooooo! I think if we are doing well he would only leave for Liverpool or England. At least I hope so!
 
i don't think nicola will leave until he has to retire and has someone who can step into his place. after all he and markus had a plan and Nicola has said that he plans to carry this plan through until the end. He will being doing it for Markus but also for the club. I can't see him leaving any time soon. SO GET USED TO HIM! aha:)
 
I can see NC staying here until he thinks he's achieved the plan which is to be successful in the PL. Can't see him staying here for ever though, because I'm sure he will receive other job offers. Unless he's been bitten by the Saints bug!

Its possible. Lets hope he doesn't row off to pastures new anytime soon! Or, and more likely, speed off in his powerboat!

In response to your question in 5 years time I see us in the premier league also I don't see us as being top 6 contenders but somewhere between 8th and 12th and far away from being relegation candidates.

I think we will have a good half and half selection of a team made up from home grown talent and talented buys from home and abroad and I also expect us to be making a profit.

Those who think Cortese will leave, are you aware he already has positions on the boards of a few other companies? Can't remember who, but he's not going to get bored. I think he's in it for the long haul.

As for the club, mid-table premier league team <ok>
