Martin O’Neill will sign to be Sunderland's new manager on Saturday, after holding fresh contract talks with director Niall Quinn. As the Wearsiders’ players toasted sacked manager Steve Bruce at a squad meal on Friday, O’Neill moved closer to taking over as their gaffer.
