    From the Telegraph.....

Should a final round of negotiations go smoothly on Saturday morning, O’Neill will be in the directors’ box alongside development director Niall Quinn to watch his new side take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. He will then meet the players early next week before an official unveiling in front of the media on Tuesday.

    ...and from The Mirror.....

Martin O’Neill will sign to be Sunderland's new manager on Saturday, after holding fresh contract talks with director Niall Quinn. As the Wearsiders’ players toasted sacked manager Steve Bruce at a squad meal on Friday, O’Neill moved closer to taking over as their gaffer. O’Neill wants the job and is expected to formally reach an agreement with owner Ellis Short within hours. But he will let Bruce assistant Eric Black take charge at Wolves tomorrow, choosing to sit in the stand to watch his new team play.

He has confirmed everything I needed to know.

One concern though was Robertson maybe not coming full time? They have been a two-some everywhere and I hope its not a Taylor/clough thing?

Ah whatever. I'm still going to enjoy the ride.
