This is the brief view of Port Vale.. Vale will welcome Bristol City to Vale Park next season League One Preview: After six seasonâs in the Championship Bristol City were relegated back to the third-tier of English football and Port Vale will welcome one of the most Southern sides in the division to Vale Park next season. Team: Bristol City As seasonâs go it was pretty dire for Bristol City, manager Derek McInnes was sacked in January after a four-nil defeat to Leicester City at Aston Gate. McInnes might be remembered for paying £300 to 17 stranded Bristol City fans that had their mini bus tyres slashed outside St Andrews. Sean OâDriscoll was appointed soon afterwards but could not help Bristol in their fight against relegation after registering only five wins from his 20 games as City finished bottom of the league. Players: The end of the season saw a host of players leave Ashton Gate, well-travelled striker Jon Stead as well as goalkeeper Tom Heaton are the most high-profile exits. Arriving at the club is centre-back Aden Flint from Swindon Town and Arsenal trainee Jordan Wynter. Expect lots of arrivals as the season draws closer and OâDriscoll tries to replace the eight departures. Manager: OâDriscoll is highly respected within the game after having success with Doncaster Rovers and Bournemouth. His CV boasts two promotions and a Football League Trophy triumph, can he grab another promotion next season? Key Man: Ghanaian international Albert Adomah has a contract until 2014 and will seek to help Bristol City return back to the Championship at the first-time of asking. The right winger has bags of pace and plenty of tricks which will cause defenders problems in League One, expect Adomah to chip in with a few goals after he scored seven last season. Promotion Odds: 7/2 http://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/article/20130616-l1previewbristol-869025.aspx
